You have about two or three interviews with HR and then with the managers. You need to be able to present yourself, explain why you're applying, and what interests you about the role. They want to know how your previous experience is relevant to this position, your motivations, and your salary expectations. You also need to understand the specific aspects of the job.

We started with a group information session that included a pre-test for skills and dexterity. A few weeks later, we were called back for more specific tests: following and respecting a procedure, demonstrating skill and dexterity in the required manipulations (exercises on paper: precision, coloring, cutting). If you achieved a sufficient score, you then received a personality test. This test didn't impact the recruiters' decision; it was more to help you prepare for your final interview (presentation, background, and questions) a few weeks later. The whole process is lengthy (over 3 months), followed by entry into training if hired.

I first had a phone screening interview with HR. Then we scheduled a virtual interview of about 1 hour. Afterwards, I had an in-person interview with the manager which lasted about an hour. We discussed what I do, what I have done, and why I want to join HERMES. I was also asked if I knew the brand, etc.

Technical Case

I was headhunted on LinkedIn and had an initial phone call, followed by an in-person interview with the line manager. They mentioned I'd hear back by the end of the week, but it took about 10 days before I had to follow up. I finally got an answer after waiting for 3 weeks. The rest of the process was standard, but honestly, I expected better professionalism from Hermes than to keep someone hanging for that long. I've worked with and interviewed for other luxury brands, and this is the first time I've experienced this from Hermes.
