The interview process includes 3 to 4 rounds: HR, manager, N+1, and N+2. First, there's an HR call to discuss your motivations, availability, and salary. Then, you'll have an interview with the manager focusing on projects and soft skills. After that, a technical test involving Excel, SQL, or a case study. Finally, a last interview to assess your fit with the company culture, which might be conducted in English.

I applied online through the official recruitment website and then sent the same application to the relevant team director via LinkedIn messaging. They offered me the job 6 weeks after I applied and I had the best interviews of my life. Everyone I met was attentive and very respectful. The recruitment process went like this: - 1st week: a 15-minute phone call to quickly check my motivation and arrange an interview for the following week at their Paris office - 2nd week: interview with a recruitment officer and a manager, who asked me for two professional references (1h20). - 4th week: interview with a current project manager and their boss, who is the team director (1 hour). - 6th week: a quick chat with my future manager and a final interview with the Communication Director, accompanied by the manager. A very friendly and less "formal" discussion than the 2nd interview (0.4h).

I had a really negative experience. I live abroad and after applying for a Project Manager position, an HR person contacted me for an initial phone interview. At the end, she told me I was invited for a second interview directly in Paris the following week but refused to cover travel expenses (which were very expensive since, as mentioned, I live abroad and had only a few days to book a flight and hotel during high season in Paris). I decided to go anyway because the position seemed very interesting. The manager received me for the interview 30 minutes late (without apologizing) and was particularly rude. I entered the office saying "hello" but she didn't even bother to respond or look up from her computer, and continued typing for a few minutes as if I wasn't there (I had to stand there awkwardly watching her, wondering if I was in the right place, a completely absurd situation). After a few minutes, she finally offered me a seat and to start the interview. Without even introducing herself or describing the job, she directly asked me about my motivations. I started talking about my previous experiences, until she cut me off and said condescendingly: "Ah... but you're from abroad?". I pointed out that my CV was printed in front of her on the table (which suggests she had reviewed it beforehand, the minimum usually required for an interview, especially for a second one). The rest was completely ridiculous: she cut short the "interview" after ten (!) minutes – I reiterate that I traveled specifically from abroad – and without even asking if I had any questions about the job, she haughtily wished me a good return. I left this farce stunned, almost wondering if it wasn't a hidden camera. I am very disappointed with this experience and must admit I expected to meet more competent people (and less stereotypical...) from a renowned company like Hermès.
