HR Leader
The interview started off rough with some confusion about confirming my attendance, which they apologized for later. The office vibe felt a bit much, like a fake modern setup. The CEO was late, and the interview wasn't what I expected. I was supposed to do a presentation, but the person who was supposed to interview me was on vacation, so a junior employee did it instead. She seemed more worried about impressing the CEO than actually interviewing me, and I felt awkward for both of us. I saw her taking notes that seemed negative during my presentation. The whole thing was so disorganized that I pulled out when I got home. They then told me I didn't get the job, even though I'd already withdrawn my application. It made me wonder about their judgment, especially with inexperienced people making decisions about leadership roles.

Counsel
So there were four interviews. First, two screeners, one with a recruiter and another lawyer. Then, an interview with the CMO. After that, I met with the whole team. Before the full team interview, there was a legal exercise I had to present at the end. When I met with the full team, I went onsite and presented the exercise to the CLO, who was new.

First, I had to pass a coding assessment. After that, I was invited to a behavioral interview. It was a really weird and awkward interview. The interviewer kept asking me about my definition of impact, but they didn't seem to like my answers. They also asked which other companies I was interviewing with, and when I named a few, they started to criticize me. The interviewer seemed really arrogant, and I'm not sure why they're the one doing behavioral interviews. Towards the end, I was also asked some random data structure and system design questions verbally, even though it wasn't mentioned that these would be part of the interview. Honestly, this is one of the first companies that rejected me, and I'm glad because I wouldn't want to work there after that experience.

The HR was super responsive and the whole process moved fast! I had a great time during the behavioral interview. The person interviewing me was really into it and threw some unexpected questions my way. I didn't get any of those typical, tricky questions like "tell me about your biggest flaw." All in all, it was a really positive experience.
- How would you approach analyzing and making a decision between two job offers, and what factors might influence your choice?
