Behavioral Presentation

I felt the company and its leadership had a really scammy vibe, despite their funding. It seemed like they're looking for someone who totally buys into their mission of replacing doctors with AI and engineers, as one employee told me. The founder's personal vendetta against physicians is spun as a sob story by marketing. Based on other reviews, they might just be interviewing as a marketing tactic, not actually hiring. I'd advise anyone getting an offer to check out public reviews on Reddit and other forums; many people feel scammed and didn't get the services they paid for. I strongly do not recommend joining them. My interviewers sounded like they were in a cult and couldn't think critically, like believing in replacing doctors with AI – you'd have to be delusional or dumb to believe that mission. I'm expecting a Netflix documentary about this scandal-prone company in the next 5-10 years. Godspeed.

Case Behavioral Technical

The interview process started with a phone screening, then a case study, and finally multiple interviews and a "jam session" in-office. It was a very time-consuming process for an associate role. I asked about potential compensation and the specific duties before committing to the extensive prep and final interview, but they declined to provide details. I went ahead with the interview and "jam session" anyway, only to be told afterward that I wasn't a good fit. When I requested feedback, they mentioned keeping me in mind for future roles but that I wasn't suited for the current opening (which was precisely the information I sought beforehand to avoid wasting my time). Be prepared for an unclear interview process where the common theme is that employees are underpaid.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process is pretty thorough, offering a good opportunity to self-select and determine if this company is the right fit. It involved a phone screen, two video calls, and an on-site interview, followed by a meeting with the CEO. During each conversation, I gained more insight into Forward's work, company culture, and mission. Many of the interviews featured engaging and challenging thought experiments that required quick, critical, and creative thinking, making the interviews interesting. The interviewers were clearly intelligent and passionate about the mission, which influenced my decision to accept the offer. Forward was sometimes slow to respond, but they were flexible with my timeline in the end.
