I got an HR email to start. Then there was a first-round interview via Google Meet. It was pretty casual, just talking about the company's products and culture, and my career plans. No coding or technical questions at all. It lasted about 30 minutes and I heard back that I didn't get it 3 days later.

A recruiter reached out. I had previously gone through part of the application process about 2 years ago, which included a tour of the office and SF facility. The first step was a standard intro chat with the recruiter. Then, there was a technical coding challenge on Coderpad with an interviewer, similar to a LeetCode challenge. I used TypeScript instead of JavaScript. I'd seen Glassdoor reviews about the questions being a bit 'odd', so I wanted to see for myself. I passed the tech interview and was invited to schedule a virtual onsite. However, I decided not to proceed because they really harped on "why/how you align with Forward" and "what other companies are you interviewing with," which matches what others have reported.
