First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at First Republic.
Software Engineer
The interview process was really nice, and the people on the team were super helpful and great to work with overall. I'd definitely recommend it. People seem to like the company because it's collaborative, offers flexible work, and really focuses on learning and growing. The leaders are easy to talk to, and there are lots of chances to move up. On the flip side, some folks mentioned that project deadlines can get pretty intense, and the fast pace might be a bit much sometimes. It could be even better if they improved how they allocate resources and managed workloads.

Deposit Services Specialist
The interview was pretty straightforward if you prepare beforehand. It was well-organized and ran smoothly. The whole process had three parts: one part was over the phone, and the other two were conducted via Zoom. It took a few hours in total, and everyone I interacted with was really kind and professional.

It was a really thorough interview process, with several interview stages over four days. I met with a bunch of Executive Vice Presidents and even the CEO of the division. They were really focused on checking for cultural fit and making sure I had the technical chops.

It involved several interview rounds, beginning with the hiring manager. Overall, it was pretty straightforward. Really, it felt more like a cultural fit interview. You'll need to talk with several folks across the organization during this process.
