So I had this take-home part where I got SQL and R questions and had 7 days to do it. After that, the hiring manager called me, and then I went in for an in-person interview with the team. Each team member did a 30-minute one-on-one with me and asked about my expectations and more SQL/R questions. The hiring manager said I'd hear back in two weeks, but it took longer, and he kept saying they were still interviewing others. Finally, I got an offer and asked for a decision. He just said to accept it. The whole thing felt super unprofessional, especially after a similar experience with FRB before.

I was interviewed by three people from the team, which is pretty new. They started by asking me to walk through my resume. Then, there were a lot of technical questions about my projects and the role, focusing on logistic regression, cross-validation, and the assumptions of linear regression. They also asked me to write some SQL code and posed very specific questions about how I handle data.

The interview process was quick. An HR person reached out to me about some technical questions in a Word document (basic SQL and R). After that, I had two phone calls with their managers. The HR requested I find a time 'later this week' for a call on Wednesday, which didn't give me much time to prep. My first phone interview went okay. The manager was nice and asked about my technical skills and work history. This led to another phone interview with their VP... and that's when things got rough. All his questions were technical, and I wasn't prepared for them. Honestly, he was a bit rude during the interview. I left feeling uncomfortable and not confident. If you're interviewing for this role, be ready. I also suspect they're only looking for PhD candidates.
