First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EE.
Sales Assistant
The interview had three stages: A screening phone call, An "experience day", A final in-person interview. The phone call was robotic and hard to find any humanity in. They demeaningly ask you multiple times if you need disability assistance if you mess up a question. The experience day was 2 hours of walking around their offices. They say it's not part of the interview process but it's very clear that it is. You will be required to make a short talk with a group about a product. The final interview is an hour of call listening, followed by a short presentation about anything that you must prepare for, then some STAR questions. Expect the interviewers to treat you like a child the entire time.

First, an application. Second, a sepia AI interview with 5 online chat questions that gives you feedback. Third, a telephone interview to introduce the job, hours, etc., and ask more questions about you. Fourth, an in-person interview where they show you around, let you listen to some calls, and then have a formal interview with 3 parts: answering questions about the calls you heard, a presentation about something you're passionate about or something they might not know, and scenario questions.
- What were your observations from the calls, and what alternative actions might you have taken?
- What did you hear on the calls and would you have done anything different?
Retail Associate
It was a long process: I applied online, then got invited to do some assessments. After that, I had to complete a video interview, and then was invited for an in-person interview at the store. I was asked to prepare a five-minute presentation for it. I did the interview and got offered the job! Then, I went in for a day at the store so we could both see if it was a good fit. I did that too, and they offered me the job again, saying the official offer would be emailed. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard anything, even after emailing. I even stopped by the store and was told they'd contact me three days ago. So, I'm done waiting and have taken another job. Too bad, because the store manager and I got along great, and it seemed really professional until the end.

Sales Advisor
The interview process was pretty quick, with a video call, a phone chat, and then an in-person meeting. The vibe was alright, but the last interview felt rushed, with rapid scenario questions that didn't give much room to explain. The presentation part was tight, only five minutes to prep and give it, which wasn't enough to really show what I can do. There was also a shop floor part where I had to help a customer and give product advice, which was good for showing the practical side. But honestly, the whole final stage felt like too much for a sales role and wasn't that revealing. Spending money on travel and then getting no feedback made it feel like a waste of time.
