First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EE.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was very easy. I received a job offer but declined it because of the flexible working rules. Aside from that, it was a good job with fair rewards. The process was very straightforward, leading to an offer, though I couldn't accept due to the flexible work policies. Otherwise, it was a good opportunity with reasonable compensation.
- What are your strategies for overcoming challenges?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online and the next day got an email saying I passed stage 1. Then I had to do a situational judgement test, picking the best and worst actions. The next day (Friday), I got a call to book a phone interview for Monday. After passing that, I was invited to an assessment day on Wednesday. This included a 1:2 interview/roleplay where I had 5 minutes to analyze a scenario and 5 minutes to solve it, repeated three times. Then I did written scenarios, explaining my choices, benefits, and drawbacks. I also had interview questions like 'Name a time you had to adapt how you delivered information', 'Why do you want to work for EE?', and 'Can you give an example of when you've had to explain something?'. After that, we had a group exercise to prepare a presentation on good customer service in 20 minutes. We then got a tour and listened to live calls. I got a job offer on Friday.
- Tell me about a time you needed to change how you communicated information.
- What motivates you to want to work for EE?
- Could you provide an instance where you had to explain something?
Customer Service Representative
Applied online, then passed a phone interview and was invited for an in-person interview. I gave it my all. They asked me to make a presentation, which I did. I built a good rapport with the panel. I gave my best possible answers and at the end, I asked them to please send me feedback even if I failed. That's the bare minimum they can do to someone who gave them their time and efforts. I was told I would hear back but never did.
- Can you describe your approach to receiving feedback?
- Tell me about a time you delivered excellent customer service.
