Behavioral Presentation Other

The interview process was pretty quick, with a video call, a phone chat, and then an in-person meeting. The vibe was alright, but the last interview felt rushed, with rapid scenario questions that didn't give much room to explain. The presentation part was tight, only five minutes to prep and give it, which wasn't enough to really show what I can do. There was also a shop floor part where I had to help a customer and give product advice, which was good for showing the practical side. But honestly, the whole final stage felt like too much for a sales role and wasn't that revealing. Spending money on travel and then getting no feedback made it feel like a waste of time.

Behavioral Presentation Other

I first applied for the role on Indeed and then was sent an online assessment. A few days later, I got an email to schedule a "quick chat" on the phone. This call was about 15 minutes long. They asked me general questions like why I applied and what makes me suitable for the job. At the end of the call, they invited me for an in-person interview, which happened a few days after the phone call. The face-to-face interview lasted two hours. The first hour involved me observing an advisor taking calls. The second hour was the actual interview. I was asked beforehand to prepare a short presentation about either a skill I could teach or a new product for EE, but they didn't ask for the presentation, only briefly what I chose. Once they knew I was 19 (which isn't on my CV and wasn't asked before), their interest seemed to drop. They asked questions like "What would I find you doing on a Saturday night? Clubbing" and "What would you do if you had to work early on a Sunday morning?" even though I mentioned I live very close by. They also asked about the salary. I said it was fair and good for me personally after working in hospitality for 3 years, but they interpreted this as me not wanting to work towards sales targets because I'm not driven by money. It felt like I was being set up, and no answer was right. Besides these odd questions, it was a typical interview with questions about why I want to work there, what I'd bring to the role, and if I'd do anything differently from what I heard. I didn't get the job offer, finding out a few days later. I wouldn't recommend this experience because some questions felt strange and inappropriate.

Technical Behavioral

It was a 3 stage interview process. Started with an online questionnaire which was quite challenging and had many questions to answer. After that, there were two face to face interviews. For the face to face interviews, just be yourself, a good personality is key to get through.
