First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Docusign.
Account Manager
The interview process was super long, like five rounds spread out over six months. They kept changing when they'd hire me, like four times. Recruiters promised stuff that wasn't true. After all that, six months later, I just got a standard email saying I didn't get it. It was the messiest, longest interview process I've ever been through. You'd think a big company like this would handle things better and with more care.

Technical Support Engineer
I've applied to this DocuSign role 4 times and only got an interview once, on my third attempt. The interview was on 3/3/2026. They send an email for you to schedule it, so you gotta watch out. If the link expires, just reply to the email and they'll send a new one. They told me during the interview that if they decided to move forward, there'd be a technical test. I got rejected but didn't get any email, so I emailed them and they replied saying they went with another candidate. It's weird though because they keep posting the same job, like it's a ghost position...

Manager
I did the first two interviews, which were pretty good overall. The recruiter was a bit slow to respond initially, needing a nudge after the confirmed date. After that, all communication stopped, and I never heard back, even after I followed up. I get that companies don't always get back to candidates who aren't selected, so it's fine, but I thought it went well and ended up in a dead end. A bit disappointing.

Program Manager
First, a recruiter or HR will do an initial screen to check your resume, see if you're interested, and make sure you fit the company culture and have basic communication skills. They usually ask behavioral questions here. Then, there's a technical assessment, which could be a coding challenge online, a quick take-home task, or a technical screening call to make sure you have the minimum skills needed. After that, you'll interview with the hiring manager. This chat mixes things up with more in-depth behavioral questions (like using STAR) about your past projects, teamwork, and leadership, plus some mid-level technical questions on system design or your field. Next, you'll have a deep dive and peer review with team members or experts. This is very technical, often involving live coding, a system design whiteboard session, or figuring out a tough technical problem. It's all about seeing how you actually do the work. Finally, a director or senior leader will do a final review, focusing on strategy, vision, and your potential. They'll ask big-picture behavioral and situational questions about handling uncertainty, making tough calls, and fitting into the company's strategy and culture.
