Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Docusign.
Sales Development Representative
They were quick and clear with their responses. They let me know when they had a national holiday and that a response might take a bit longer. I got an extensive email after my first call to get me ready for my job interview. They always made me feel at ease, because a big multinational like theirs might seem intimidating to apply for at first.

Sales Development Representative
It was a pretty standard process overall. Everyone I talked to was really nice, and they tried to make the presentation part feel more like a casual chat. Even though I didn't get the job, it was a good experience. I just wish I'd gotten some feedback on why I didn't get the job, so I'd know what to change for future applications and interviews.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in DocuSign?
- What makes you want this SDR role specifically?
- Could you discuss your past sales experience?
Sales Development Representative
Typical sales interview, really. They prefer inside recommendation or solid prior experience. The process started with a 15-20 min screening call with a recruiter, and then a 1-hour interview presentation with 4 sales managers. For the phone screening, it was 15-20 min with the recruiter asking basic questions about interest and experience. They supposedly check resumes for sales lingo. The second interview involved a Powerpoint resume presentation (they send the template beforehand) with 4 sales managers. The first 30 min was just presenting your resume, followed by 30 min of Q&A where each manager asked questions about prior experience. They were pretty easy to get along with.
- Tell me why you're interested in sales.
- Can you describe your most memorable sale?
- What aspects of a manager did you like or dislike the most?
