First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Docusign.
Intern
Chill, had three interviews including a phone screen. Usually, there's a technical round depending on the team you're interviewing for. I would prepare technical stuff and overall behavioral. The last round is with the Hiring Manager.
- What is your motivation for joining Docusign?
Intern
The interview wasn't too bad, they asked a few questions. There were 2 rounds. The last round was an assignment. Need to hit word count idk what else to write. Keeping this going.
- Tell me about your interest in joining DocuSign.
Intern
I first submitted my resume and cover letter through my university's career site. About 3 days later, I got contacted to set up a phone interview. The interviewer, who is a project manager there, asked me a bunch of questions about my background and why I wanted to intern at DocuSign. About 3 days after that, the same project manager reached out again to invite me for on-site interviews. When I got there, I met with three people: the project manager I spoke with earlier, a consultant, and the director of the program I applied for. I felt like the first two interviews went well, but I think the last one might have been where I didn't make the cut because the director seemed unimpressed with my answers and didn't ask any follow-up questions. The project manager told me I'd hear back by the middle of next week. I ended up getting a call saying they decided to go with candidates who had more experience. It was pretty awkward getting rejected over the phone, and honestly, an email would have been less painful.
- Can you tell me more about yourself?
Docusign General Intern Interview Questions
Quoted word for word from Docusign interview reports.
“Write a program that simulates DocuSign's server load balancing by randomly assigning jobs to servers based on their size. Given server names and sizes (e.g., X:3, Y:1), the program should output a server name such that larger servers are chosen more frequently, reflecting the specified proportions (e.g., X gets 75%, Y gets 25% if X is 3 times bigger than Y). Test the distribution by running the program 100 times.”
