Behavioral Other

The recruiter contacted me after about a month, and then it took another 5-6 weeks to get a call with them, followed by another 2 weeks to speak with the hiring manager. It was quite disorganized with people being late for calls. They mostly asked about stakeholder management and resolving work challenges, rather than product experience. The manager seemed distracted and the tone was negative. It took them another month to send a rejection email.

Behavioral Technical Case

Recruiter screen, didn't get much info on the team or company, just a loose explanation of the interview process. Then, a 45min chat with the hiring manager, which was good. They explained the basics of the role. The recruiter then said the next round would be a loop and I'd be passed to someone else. During the final loop, a different person from another team joined instead of the one on the invite, and I wasn't told beforehand. A week after the loop, I followed up with the recruiter via email, and a rejection email came back automatically 5 mins later. Seriously, the recruiting team needs better training on professionalism and basic human decency.
