Manager
It was a bunch of interviews over several months that were really disorganized, like the recruiters and hiring team didn't manage it well. You had to get through each round before moving on. The interviewers kept changing, and there were weeks in between each chat. The recruiter would hit me up 1-3 weeks later and ask to set up the next interview in the next few days, which felt like a lot to ask of me when they were the ones causing the delays. The actual interviews were okay; some people were great and seemed into it, others were late and didn't seem to care. They were mostly about my experience and behavioral stuff. After what seemed like the last one, I just got a quick message saying I didn't make it. No feedback, and when I asked for some, they ignored me, even though the recruiter and HR/TA were asking for feedback from others. Why give feedback if you don't get it back? It all felt impersonal, messy, and like they didn't respect my time. It was a shame because the company seems good otherwise.

Hiring Manager
I was found on Linkedin by Aimee Cook and she made this normally stressful interview process so smooth. She clearly outlined the schedule of interviews and shared valuable insights from the hiring manager before my interview to help me know what topics to focus on. Aimee and the entire team were so incredibly accommodating and understanding, and even helped to adjust my interview schedule multiple times to work with my schedule. They showed me throughout the way that they cared about me and my time. The interviews with the management and teams were by far the best, there was nothing useless and they understood what I brought to the team. In other tech company interviews I didn't get to meet with the hiring manager first, but rather potential peers that gatekept the position. It was incredibly direct and refreshing to meet with the hiring manager first, then a round with the hiring manager and their sr management, and the last round being with the team and including a simple exercise. In my industry we often have far too many interview rounds and take away project work, leaving me with lost time when it doesn't work out. The interview experience with DocuSign is AMAZING. Everyone cares about your time and the staff is so empathetic and kind. The interviews were not heavily formal, but rather a discussion, which is great if you are nervous or have a tough time interviewing.

Senior Manager
It started with a phone interview with the hiring manager, a Sr Director, who basically talked the entire time. The next part was onsite interviews with the VP, who talked the whole way through and didn't ask any questions, and 2 Directors who seemed to have less experience and asked questions about product management alignment that they should be getting direction on from the VP. The hiring manager wasn't even at the onsite, maybe on vacation. The staffing and levels didn't make sense, with millennials at Director level and unclear skills gaps. They ended up hiring more millennials in the senior manager roles. It felt like a waste of time and was odd.
