Financial Advisor
An interview process is a multi-step method employers use to assess candidates for a job, involving stages like resume screening, phone screening, interviews (phone, video, or in-person), skills assessments, and final selection and job offers. The goal is to determine if a candidate has the necessary skills, experience, and cultural fit for the role and the organization. While the exact process varies, it typically includes candidate introduction, question-and-answer sessions, and a conclusion where the interviewer provides next steps.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Case Manager Specialist
The interview process was quite thorough, with a lot of case scenarios involved. It was a positive experience overall. After a 30-minute initial screening, I had an online interview with two section managers. The main interview lasted a little over an hour. Once they decided to make an offer, they sent over a proposal detailing the salary and benefits. I was also required to provide references. The whole process took about 4.5 weeks from start to finish.

- Could you elaborate on your strengths and weaknesses?

Corporate Banking Associate
An HR person reached out. For competitive roles like corporate banking or investment banking, they use a third party for the first round. It's basically a fit screening. The recruiter wants to see if your skills match your past experience. They're looking for people who have done corporate banking before or have industry experience and know how to do a valuation.
