Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Desjardins.
Assistant Manager
It went well, lots of questions asked. The STAR method was effective. The interviewer was attentive. There were 2 rounds in total. It's a great place to start as an assistant. Several people were present in the room.
- Can you describe an instance where you had to manage multiple tasks simultaneously?
Delivery Manager
The hiring process involves an initial interview with the director, followed by a second interview with the team lead. An offer email is then sent, leading to a third meeting to discuss terms and conditions, including salary. The entire process typically spans 2-3 weeks and unfolds naturally. Hiring processes can vary depending on the director at Desjardins.
- Could you describe your professional background, your accomplishments, and your current responsibilities?
Manager
We had a bunch of phone interviews first, then a security check, and after that, a management assessment. I spoke with the HR advisor, a Director, and the team members. A background check is also mandatory. Everything was in French, and while they appreciate English speakers, it's not a requirement.
- How do you feel about adapting to change?
