Accountant
Interview was super easy. It was 3 rounds, and I made it to the final one with the VP. It went very well, and he told me he hoped to let me know soon after reconvening with the team. After that, it was radio silent for 4 days. I followed up twice, and didn’t hear until business day 7 that I wasn’t chosen. Prepare to have to follow up multiple times or be ghosted after going through the entire interview process
- They did an excel test
Associate Product Manager
The interviews were pretty standard. I first spoke with a recruiter, then a peer, and finally a director of product. The questions were mostly straightforward. The peer asked behavioral questions, and the director asked more technical questions, though not overly so. The director seemed particularly interested in AI, so it would be good to have an answer prepared about your experience with those tools if you're applying for this role. I enjoyed talking to both of them. However, I was disappointed by the two-week wait before the recruiter contacted me to say they had selected a candidate whose experience was a better fit. Since this is an associate-level role and I have mid-level experience in e-commerce, I'm wondering if I was considered overqualified. The role has since been reposted, so I wish the chosen candidate the best of luck and hope they have a better communication experience than I did.
- Tell me about a product feature you managed from start to finish and the metrics you aimed to impact with its launch. Experience with AI is a plus.
Human Resources
I had a phone screen first, then two more interviews with the hiring manager and a cross-functional partner. Each of those lasted 45 minutes, which was pretty long. The interviews were really insightful and the people I spoke with were nice and asked good questions.
- Have you conducted investigations before?
Jewelry Consultant
There were 2 interviews, a phone screening and then a management interview, which could be in person or over Zoom. They asked about my interest in the jewelry industry, why I left my previous jobs, and my availability. While prior jewelry experience isn't necessary, it's important to explain why I want this specific job. They stressed emphasizing previous customer service experience. Before the second interview, I had to complete an assessment, and during the interview, there was an activity. This seemed to be to figure out how quickly I could learn some of the Salesforce tasks involved in the daily work.
