The interview process involved an initial call, followed by a group discussion, and then a final interview. The whole process took about two weeks from the application date. The group discussion was typical, and the final interview was quite brief. It included basic questions about my background, my coding abilities, my proficiency with Excel, and my availability given the rigorous nature of the internship.

I got this screening invite on a Sunday night and was told the interview needed to be the next day because of urgent timelines. I agreed even though it was a bad time, mostly for the brand name. They mentioned an assessment centre on Wednesday, so they were in a rush. But after my Monday interview, they unexpectedly said there'd be another interview the very next day. I wasn't ready, and I was travelling that week. I let them know and asked for confirmation about the assessment centre since I'd need to sort things out. I got vague but good vibes, so I agreed again. After the second interview, I went out of my way to change my travel plans, got a friend to hold my stuff for the assessment centre, and pushed my trip back to later that night to stay committed. And then? Nothing. No news, no follow-up. Just a rejection two months later! Look, I get they can't hire everyone. But this kind of chaotic, last-minute, and frankly disrespectful way of handling candidates' time is not okay, especially from a big global brand. At least be upfront, communicate properly, and don't create false urgency or hope. I was looking for a job, but I wasn't desperate!

I went through a two-round interview process that was efficient and enjoyable. Feedback came back quickly after each stage, making the experience feel well-organized and respectful of my time. The interviewers were welcoming and the conversations were engaging. I was asked situational and behavioral questions, letting me show my problem-solving skills and approach to real-world scenarios. Overall, it was a positive and professional experience that left a great impression.

I was scheduled for an interview on a certain date, but upon arrival, I was informed there was a mistake and it was supposed to be on another day; no apology was offered. I returned a week later, and the interviewer's attitude was hostile. This is something they always do in BAT interviews; they arrange the interviewers such that you are literally against a wall with them in front of you. The rest of the process is extensive and competitive.
