After I applied, I got an automated email with a task, which was a set of childish games. They said there were no right or wrong answers. These pointless tasks took almost an hour. I finished them and got good feedback. A week later, I received an automatic rejection email with no explanation or feedback. It was infuriating to be treated this way, especially since they likely didn't even look at my CV before sending the games. Making applicants do these ridiculous hoops shows they don't care about our time. This company clearly doesn't value potential hires. I'm glad I didn't waste more energy on their fake process.

I applied on their website and after about a month, the recruiter from BAT gave me a call for a quick phone interview, maybe 10-15 minutes. If that went well, I had to do a digital interview through HireVue, which was pretty tough because the questions came fast and I only had a minute to prep before recording. After that, I had an in-person interview with two accounting managers.
