Marketing Manager
The interview process included an HR interview, a peer interview, a business case, and a line manager interview with a presentation. The whole thing took over 3 weeks because we had to align schedules. The interviews were in person, but we could do them online if needed.

I spent ages on my cover letter and CV, but the first step was just an online screening where I uploaded my documents. Then, right away, they emailed saying they'd reviewed my application and wanted me to do an online culture questionnaire. I'd already spent hours researching BAT's values and culture because the questionnaire suggested it. It was all about ranking statements based on what mattered most to me at work. Honestly, I felt like I was trying to guess the 'right' answers they were looking for. The whole thing felt really basic and a bit strange, almost like pseudoscience. After I finished, I waited a week, and then got an automated email on a bank holiday saying my application wasn't moving forward.

I applied through another source and got emails for a verbal and numerical test and a video interview via Sonru with clear instructions. I'm waiting for the results to see if I get to the next step. The verbal and numerical tests were okay, not too tricky, just needed to pay attention to what was asked. The video interview was great because they gave me at least 1 minute for each question (13 questions total), and I could finish them all within 30 minutes. Afterward, I could rewatch my answer videos but couldn't redo anything. The Sonru application was easy to use and very supportive, allowing several practice sessions before the real interview.
