First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BAT.
Brand Specialist
The interview process isn't complete yet, with more stages planned. I'm optimistic because the interactions so far have been positive. The team I've met seems fantastic, and I'm really hoping to join them.
- Can you share examples of your relevant experience and how you approach imaginative problem-solving?
Brand Manager
The HR rep was super responsive and things got going fast. I had my first interview quick and got encouraging feedback – they said they liked me and wanted to move me to stage two, but it would take some time. But then, it got bad. It's been over a month and a half, and even after politely asking a couple of times, I never heard back. I was totally ghosted. This was a bummer because I really liked the company and expected a professional hiring process, especially from a company like BAT. The silence left a really bad taste, no matter the result. Basically, the start was good, but the lack of updates and transparency made it a frustrating and unprofessional experience.
- Can you introduce yourself and describe how others perceive you?
Brand Manager
The first interview went really well. The hiring manager even mentioned they would move me forward to the next step, which is a face-to-face assessment center. However, I later noticed they sent an automated culture test to my email, which they didn't mention when I asked about the interview steps.
- Can you describe your current job responsibilities?
