I didn't actually apply for this job. I put in an application for a different role elsewhere via Indeed. Then, someone contacted me by text message. They mentioned they had a similar opening at American Income Life, but the job itself was completely different from the one I initially applied for.
It was a weird interview process. It started with a Zoom call where they were hyping up the company and explaining why you should work there. There was a chat going on and a video about how great the company is. Then, you were pulled into a one-on-one with someone who might have been a hiring manager. It was kind of off and strange.
It was a good interview, surprisingly easy. It involved a small group of people, and we were informed that we would have to cover the costs for pre-courses and the exam, amounting to a total of $400.
