My interview with Virtusa was really disorganized and I was not happy. They scheduled an interview, but the person never showed up. It got postponed to the next day. The rescheduled interview had a different person leading it, and they didn't say why. They also kept their camera off, so it felt distant. It seemed like they were doing other things or texting during our chat, making it less engaging and kind of unprofessional. The interview was mostly about specific technical trivia, like creating XPath expressions, instead of covering bigger quality engineering topics like automation strategy, working with developers, or testing in modern Agile settings. Overall, the whole process felt old-fashioned and messy compared to other interviews.

The hiring process took about a month and a half, mainly because the company was undecided about the role's creation. Although the HR team was professional and the interview with the Polish team went smoothly, the final stage was disappointing. After ITmagination was acquired by Virtusa, the final interview was conducted by a manager from India and Virtusa, and it felt more like an interrogation than a discussion. I didn't even have the opportunity to ask any questions; it was just a continuous stream of questions directed at me.

The interview process at Virtusa involved three stages: a technical interview, a client interview, and a service line interview. The overall process was quite long and took a lot of time. The focus was mainly on core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. There were also some questions related to databases.

The interview process includes a Behavioral & Cognitive Assessment, a Technical Assessment, a Coding Assessment, and a Communication Assessment. The first three assessments (Behavioral, Cognitive, Technical, & Coding) must be taken in person at designated computer labs or assessment centers within college premises or Accenture Centers. Assessments taken elsewhere will disqualify the candidate. The Communication assessment can be taken from any virtual, noise-free location within the given time frame, unless specifically instructed by Accenture to take a virtual assessment. (Note: The requirement for physical presence at assessment premises does not apply to candidates assigned and informed by Accenture to take a virtual assessment.)
