Intern
- Why are you interested in this role?
- What is your English proficiency?
- Tell me about your academic background.
Sales Representative
I had a really bad time interviewing for this sales job. The HR person was so checked out and kept asking me to say the same things over and over. Plus, they asked weird personal stuff about my love life, like, totally not about the job. The feedback was also super unprofessional and made me feel judged. They even said I was 'all over the place' for applying to something outside my usual area, even though it was entry-level. I tried to explain I was laid off from my last job. I got the vibe they really wanted to know if I was planning to have kids soon. She asked if my relationship was still good after I got back from overseas and if we'd made it official, trying to figure out where I'm at in life, I guess because I'm 29 and have a steady partner. The whole thing felt so unprofessional and disorganized, like they didn't care about respecting candidates at all. It felt like they don't even follow basic professional rules and might discriminate based on where you are in life. It's been 19 days and still no word back. I don't trust them anymore, not even as a customer.
- Can you discuss your previous work history?
- What can you tell me about your personal life?
- Let's practice a sales scenario.
Consulente Personal
I sent my application online on the Unicredit website, shortly after getting my technical commercial diploma, for the branch integration program designed for new high school graduates/graduates. It's an apprenticeship program aimed at training the figure of a personal consultant. I was contacted by email to proceed with some psychometric and reasoning tests. After a few days, I was contacted by phone by the recruiting and assessment office to discuss the job position, salary, and the next steps in the selection process. They also asked me about my motivations and my territorial availability. I was then invited to an online assessment where, along with other candidates, we were asked to develop a commercial proposal to a hypothetical client according to specific instructions provided. After passing this phase successfully, one has to wait for a call from the recruiting office or the territorial manager to proceed with the final selection phase, which is the introductory interview. The wait lasted a few weeks, and I had to prompt the recruiting office via email, as I hadn't received any more updates about my application and several weeks had already passed. I was contacted by the aforementioned office, who informed me of the lack of job openings in my geographical area, and I was forced to wait even longer. The process turned out to be long and a bit disappointing.
- How did you find the situation proposed in the assessment? Would you change anything about your actions during the assessment? If yes, what would you change? How would you handle the situation in real life?
Business Analyst
It was a group call, where we had to answer individually and as a group to different business scenarios. For example, we were asked which startup we would fund given certain investor characteristics. This was an individual question first, then we had to propose the investment to a venture fund as a group. Finally, there was a short conversation in English.
- Which startup do you think best meets the venture capital fund's requirements?
- Which startup aligns most with the venture capital fund's requests, in your opinion?
- In your view, which startup most closely matches the venture capital fund's criteria?
