Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UniCredit Group.
Stage Risk Management
The first round was a phone call with technical questions involving various scenarios, and the second round was with a director, which was more of an introductory chat with some technical questions in the same area as the derivatives discussed (swaps on various underlyings, option pricing).
- Could you explain swaps on various underlying assets and options pricing?
Relationship Manager
It was three rounds total. First was with HR, talking about personality and if I'd fit into the company culture. Second was with the person I'd report to, more technical questions about the job and capital markets, like stocks and bonds, how securitization works, and what a relationship manager does day-to-day. The last round was with a senior manager, mostly personality and culture fit stuff.
- Could you explain the difference between stocks and bonds?
Relationship Manager
It was a semi-formal interview. The manager was really friendly and seemed interested in my past experience. They asked me a couple of questions about different scenarios and how I'd approach them. I also got asked a question about the company and what I know about it.
- How would you handle a situation where you're with a customer and suddenly have other urgent tasks to deal with?
- What would you do if you were with a customer and simultaneously received urgent tasks?
- Describe your approach to managing a customer interaction when other urgent tasks arise.
