First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at UniCredit Group.
Risk Analyst
We started with a recruiter call asking logic and aptitude questions, followed by 3 online interviews. None of the interviews were very technical; they mostly focused on discussing my CV and experience.
- We discussed my university experience.
- The most technical part, if you will, was completing the OLA.
Credit Risk Analyst
The interview was held online. There were 5 people in the meeting, but only one person asked questions. At the end of the interview, all departments in Risk were presented, and I was then allowed to ask questions.
- Could you tell me about your background?
- Do you have a basic understanding of Financial Instruments?
- How is a balance sheet structured?
Credit Risk Analyst
For internships, the interview process is pretty straightforward. You'll mainly have one interview with your future supervisor in the risk management group. They're mostly interested in your past experiences and soft skills, and how those could be helpful in the financial sector. You don't need to know specific risk management practices, regulations, or programming languages beforehand, but they do want to see that you can pick up new things quickly.
- What steps would you take to create a statistical model for estimating counterparty PD?
