You can apply to Unicredit either through a connection or by finding a job posting on their website. If you're shortlisted, they'll contact you soon for the first round. However, the evaluation process can take some time because they don't hire year-round, so they need to check availability before moving forward.

Technical Coding

I applied for a remote Software Engineer role and the whole interview was conducted remotely via Teams. It lasted about 30 minutes. It's interesting because the interview didn't really focus on coding. Instead, it was mainly about debugging Java apps and working with Linux servers, covering things like heap memory, VisualVM, ps, and grep on logs.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • If a Java application on the production server became unresponsive, what steps would you take to identify the root cause?
  • Describe your method for investigating why a Java application running on a production server has stopped responding.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty good overall and had three phases. The first phase was an interview with the HR manager. The second phase involved a test where we had to express our ideas on a specific topic. The third phase was a quiz, like an IQ test, with three tests, each lasting half an hour, covering logical and mathematical reasoning.
