First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Tiffany & Co..
Executive Assistant
The interview process consists of 5 rounds in total and it is very professional and systematic. The interviewers are transparent and warm. It’s not like they keep asking you questions but a mutual information sharing. You will get timely updates on your next steps. Even at the offer stage they will try their best to meet your expectations and you can feel the sincerity.
- Can you discuss your previous job experiences?
- Could you please provide a self-introduction?
- How would you respond to a given scenario?
Analyst
The recruiter was super responsive at first and set up interviews with the team. But then after the final interview, they just disappeared for months. I sent emails, but no reply. Finally, months later, they got back to me to say I didn't get the role. They offered to let me talk to the hiring manager for feedback. Turns out they hired someone internally, which is what I heard usually happens.
- Have you presented to senior leadership before?
Team Manager
The interview process felt very superficial and I didn't feel like they truly listened to me. I made it all the way to the final interview, where I was discussed pay and received an offer letter. Then, just 24 hours later, I got an email saying they decided not to proceed with hiring for this position at this time, and that was it! I asked for feedback but got nothing else. The hiring manager tried to advocate for me and was told that because I'm currently working part-time due to a family emergency, it wasn't what they expected for my career trajectory. Can you believe that? Life sometimes puts careers on hold.
- Can you describe your path to success?
- What strategies would you use to keep clients and ensure your team meets its targets?
- Share an experience you had dealing with an unhappy client or a difficult coworker.
HR
I was briefed by an agency for an HR role at Tiffany, but the interview got cancelled last minute. The agency said the reason was that the person currently in the role wasn't moving to the new position yet. Oddly, I saw the agency repost the job description, suggesting they've opened a new applicant pool. It's a disgraceful situation for both the agency and the hiring manager, as neither had the decency to explain the real reason.
