I got a call to come in for an interview. I had a virtual interview with a local salesperson. It was pretty straightforward. I didn't end up taking the job for a few reasons, but I was really impressed with how the company treated me during the whole thing.

They emailed me an interview, and didn't ask about my availability. When I arrived, I felt judged as a woman of color by the two Caucasian female interviewers. They kept looking me up and down, and I felt uncomfortable, in a racially uncomfortable way. I knew I was qualified, and as someone who loves Tiffany and sold Tiffany glasses, I realized this wasn't the brand I could stand behind as a WOC anymore. Don't be fooled by the one light-skinned female and gay guy they hire. It's deep-rooted evil.

I applied online and did their pre-hire assessment, but after a week of no response, I went in person and gave my resume to the department manager. We had a quick interview, and he set up another one for me in 5 days with more managers. The second interview had two parts: first, I met with the assistant manager and another manager, and second, I met with the global customer service manager. They were all very nice and seemed happy with my answers. The last manager even said she liked me and I should know about the job in about 2 weeks. I turned down other interviews to focus on this one. BUT, three weeks went by with no word, even after I followed up by email. The job was still posted. Another two weeks later, I finally got an email saying I didn't get the job. I was so mad, it felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Worst interview ever!
