First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Three.
Customer Assistant
Did an online test to check customer service skills and decision making. Then had a telephone chat, which was really friendly and casual. After that, it was a face-to-face meeting in the store with the manager. You can also move to different stores internally if there are openings.
- Can you share an instance where you provided great customer service?
- Tell me about a time you had to make a tough decision.
- What would be your reaction if you didn't meet your targets?
Customer Advisor
I started with an online assessment, then had a quick 10-minute chat with recruitment about my experience and availability. From that call, I was invited to an in-person interview that lasted over an hour. It was a one-on-one where they asked scenario questions based on company values, wanting detailed answers from past experiences. They really focused on the sales side of the role, so I'd highlight any sales experience you have. The interview itself was good, the managers were friendly and made me feel comfortable.
- Can you describe a past situation where you encountered conflict?
- Tell me about a time you provided feedback to someone.
- Describe an instance where you worked towards achieving specific targets.
UX Consultant
It's a three-step process. First, an informal chat with the recruiter to go over the job description, your CV, and what your salary expectations are. Second, you'll interview with the hiring manager, again discussing your CV and answering some questions. The third and final stage is a task-based interview. You'll be given some time beforehand to prepare for this. This interview will be with the hiring manager and another team member.
- Tell me your motivation for applying to this UX position.
- What makes you believe you're a strong candidate for this role?
- What's your experience working within a scrum team?
Marketing
The interview process felt long, with quite a few rounds. They did a good job keeping me in the loop for most of it, but the communication dropped off at the end. It was a bit disappointing to not get much feedback after going through so many stages.
- Can you describe the structure of your presentation?
- We have some scenario-based questions for you.
