First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Telefónica.
Data Engineer
The interview was a positive and challenging experience, although I was not ultimately selected for the position. From the first contact, communication with the team was clear and friendly, and I felt they valued transparency about the process and the steps to follow. The interview agenda was well-structured, with time for technical and situational questions, and to learn more about the company culture.
- What are my salary expectations?
Key Account Manager
3 interview stages. First, the recruiter. Then, the Madrid office. Up to this point very positive, constant feedback. The last in-person interview at the Barcelona office. The bittersweet feeling, I feel like some answers were not expected. After the interview, I sent an email to thank the department head for their time. So far (more than 6 months) I haven't received a response. I haven't received any response from the recruiter either, or from anyone. Feedback 0. Response 0.
- Please describe your sales process.
Data Scientist
The selection process includes an in-depth technical interview with the area manager and senior members of the technical team, aiming to validate professional experience, disciplinary knowledge, and fit with the job challenges. This phase allows for the assessment of both technical skills and collaboration capability in real-world contexts. Once the right person is identified or the number of candidates is narrowed down to a final group, an interview is conducted with the Human Resources team to evaluate cultural fit, candidate expectations, and contractual aspects.
- Can you tell me about your CV?
- How do you handle stressful situations?
- What's your knowledge of current leading-edge technologies?
Data Analyst
The selection process was really efficient and professional. Right from the start, they communicated clearly and openly, giving detailed info at each step. The interviews were lively and well-organized, allowing them to assess both technical skills and interpersonal abilities. Plus, the way they organized things and respected the timelines made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Every part came with precise explanations, which built trust throughout. The team's seriousness and commitment made the process quick and effective, ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.
- Were there any initial interviews, and then a technical test that was very similar to the day-to-day work?
- Describe a technical test that closely mirrors daily tasks.
