Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Telefónica.
Product Manager
The interview process involves an in-person interview, and they also request medical exams and analyses at OLAB. They check for tattoos. They take their time to respond, but you will receive a response indicating whether you got the job or not. The process included one interview with my direct manager and another with HR.
- Could you tell me about your experience with networks and budgets?
Product Manager
They always impose the interview time, they don't ask for options even if the person works. Little empathy and a tense atmosphere. Also, they keep changing the time. They sell themselves as if they were Google.
- What interesting digital products or apps come to mind and why?
Product Manager
The first interview was about 1.5 hours with the hiring manager. We talked about the relevant parts of my CV for the role and they asked specific questions about my most recent roles and went through the details of the role I was interviewing for. At the end, they asked if I could come back the next day for a second round with one of the hiring manager's direct reports. That interview also lasted about the same amount of time, was straightforward, going over my CV and giving me a chance to ask questions.
- Nothing out of the ordinary or unrelated to my CV. All questions were in relation to my prior experience.
