The interview process was disorganized and took a long time. When I got there, they told me the main interviewer was running late due to traffic. So, I ended up interviewing with several other people until the main interviewer could see me. This person only spent about 15 minutes with me. Afterward, they told me I was their top candidate but that there were some organizational changes happening. Eventually, the new marketing leadership decided to cancel the position I was interviewing for.

It started with an email from the recruiter, then a call with her. We talked salary and it was way off from the job posting, which felt like a total lie. She gave me 10 technical questions, wrote down my answers, and I passed that. Next, I had a technical interview with two team members. They asked pretty much the same questions, looking for those textbook troubleshooting answers. I didn't give them that, so I didn't make it further. My advice? Use ChatGPT for technical scenarios and textbook responses, that should help you get through.

First, I had a recruiter phone call, and then there were two technical interviews and a behavioral one. The behavioral interview was about 30 minutes, and the technical interviews were each an hour long. The technicals involved easy/medium LeetCode problems, and the behavioral one was pretty standard, asking me to go deep into my past experiences from my resume. Things seemed to go well, but then the company totally ghosted me after the final round. It was super unprofessional not to get any response back.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Tell me about your experience with LeetCode problem 1306.
  • What's your approach to solving LeetCode problem 917?
  • Could you elaborate on those problems after discussing 1306 and 917?

A really thorough and detailed interview process. First up was a culture fit interview with the internal recruiters, which included some rapid fire technical questions. After that, a technical interview with a senior engineer was conducted to further gauge your skillset and values, with a strong emphasis on integrity. Next, a challenging technical panel interview with several engineers took place. Common questions revolved around encryption types and scripts, as well as AD structuring. So, just come prepared for that. Then there was an interview with the hiring manager, which involved a good conversation about your experiences and some scenario-based questions. Following that, an interview with senior management allowed for further discussions around your knowledge and values. Finally, an interview with a VP overseas was conducted to provide a final decision on the applicant. It was a great process, and provided plenty of practice too. The arrangement of interviews was seamless, and all of these interviews happened over two weeks. You need to just come prepared, back up your technical answers with real world examples you can stand by, and be your authentic self.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you explain the difference between Symmetric and Asymmetric encryption?
  • Could you explain how an AD environment works, considering domain controllers and the links between them?
