Marketing
I applied for this marketing role and it turned out to be a disaster. The interview was a virtual call. The first 10 minutes of the call, the interviewer mentioned that they had renovators at their house and had to open the door for them. So they left the call to do that, and when they came back, you could tell they were totally unfocused for the rest of the call. And when I asked questions, there weren't any good responses. Don't waste people's time if you already know you don't want to interview them.
- I can't even remember what questions were asked. There was one basic question and then the interviewer couldn't even focus on it.
Marketing
It was a pretty standard interview process. The recruiters always keep candidates informed. The extra communication is a nice personal touch. Everyone I met through the process was polite and professional.

I applied online and about 3 weeks later got a rejection email. A week after that, another rejection email came. Then, out of the blue, HR emailed asking if I was still interested and available for a phone interview. It was weird. I suggested a date and HR contacted me right away. I had a really good chat with the HR person, even though the hiring manager was already deep into their interviews. HR said the hiring manager still wanted to interview me. The next week, an interview was scheduled with the hiring manager. When I logged into the video call, I waited 5 minutes for the manager, but they never showed up. I called HR to figure out what happened and what the next steps were. The HR manager promised answers and that my interview would be rescheduled. It never was. No explanation, no rescheduling, no apology for ghosting me. I was really disappointed because I thought this role was perfect for me. About 5-6 weeks later, I got another generic rejection email from Tanium. This whole experience was terrible and unprofessional. It felt like a typical Bay Area thing where candidates are disrespected and treated like they're disposable. We're people looking for work, not trash to be thrown out. Please treat candidates with respect.
