So for the interview, they gave me a task to develop a website within 45 minutes. There weren't any DSA questions, but they did ask about system design, my projects, and my past internships. The whole experience was pretty good, though I feel like there should have been a dedicated DSA round. In college, we focus a lot on DSA for interviews, and CGPA is a big deal because it's usually the first thing they talk about.

Behavioral Technical Case

I had a really good time interviewing for the Product Intern position at Swiggy. The interviews were all about thinking through real-world product problems, focusing a lot on understanding users, figuring out what the main issues are, and then coming up with solutions that actually work. They wanted me to break down really open-ended product situations, explain why I made certain assumptions, and consider the trade-offs involved, which made the whole thing pretty interesting. Honestly, it felt more like we were working together to solve a problem rather than me being tested, and it gave me a good sense of how Swiggy makes product decisions.

First, I had to complete an online assessment with 3 medium-to-hard questions. After solving all of them, I waited about a week or two to get a call for the first interview round. That round went pretty well. We talked about my resume projects and I was asked some questions about them, then I had to solve 2 DSA problems. I got through those, but then got ghosted. About a month after the first round, I was contacted for an HR interview. However, just before that, I received an email saying that they had found someone for the role and wouldn't be moving forward with my application. It was a good learning experience, though. I feel the company should at least send a rejection email if they're not going to proceed with an application. Ghosting isn't a response.

Technical Case Behavioral

The interview process included one online assessment, followed by three interviews: one technical, one case study, and one with the hiring manager. The experience with HR was quite negative. Initially, they offered 12 LPA for a Business Analyst role. During the interview process, they asked if I could join as an MIS role for 10 LPA, which I declined. Then they offered an Associate BA role for 11 LPA. When I inquired about the BA role and the frequent changes, I received no clear answers. They negotiated the salary like a fish market and reneged on their initial offer. The recruiters showed a lack of accountability, which was a very pathetic experience.
