The interview process was pretty straightforward. You get access to a Candidate Portal that outlines the next steps. The recruiter can provide guidance and prep for your upcoming interviews if you reach out. However, you should still prepare for topics beyond what the recruiter mentions. I was a bit caught off guard during the Hiring Manager round because I had only prepared based on the recruiter's advice, and the Hiring Manager asked only one question related to those topics. Despite that, it wasn't a tough interview process, and everyone was really friendly and easy to talk to!

I recently went through the whole interview process at ServiceTitan for a senior product role. It involved five 45-minute one-on-one interviews and then a 90-minute case study which I had to present to a panel of five people. The case study happened after the first two rounds. Interestingly, they actually offered me a Principal Product role after the initial interviews, based on my experience. But in the end, after finishing all the stages, I got rejected because they said my 'working style does not match'. It was kind of weird because how could they know my working style without working together? Also, after the last interview, the recruiter asked for more time because the hiring manager was away for a week, but then I got a rejection email before that week was even over.

It started with a recruiter call where they asked basic questions like 'Introduce yourself' and 'Why do you want to work for ServiceTitan?'. Then there was a coding round that took about 90 minutes. It was split into three tasks where you had to pass the first to get to the next. The first task was about figuring out the output of promises and timeouts, so studying the event loop, microtask queue, and macrotask queue is important. Task two was to implement promise.all() from scratch. Task three involved creating a higher-order component that handles promises. The second coding round was also about 90 minutes. You were given a basic React ToDo app and had to implement several features, such as adding and removing items and using local storage. After completing the requirements, you had to review your own code as if it were going into production. They might also ask about React rendering, hooks, and memoization. I didn't pass this round, but it was an okay experience overall.

This interview was no walk in the park — having prior sales experience really helps. ServiceTitan wants folks who get outbound prospecting, CRM tools, and SaaS sales already. I went through a recruiter chat, then an interview with the hiring manager, and finally a role-play. They were checking how well I communicate, handle objections, and know my sales metrics. You gotta be ready to talk about your outreach strategy, how you qualify leads, and give examples of meeting or beating your goals. The team was upfront and professional. It's obvious they're looking for SDRs who can get up to speed fast and already know how to follow a sales cadence.
