Training Specialist
So there were a few parts to it. First, a recruiter reached out to ask some basic questions about me and my experience. Then, I had an interview with the hiring manager. She then gave the go-ahead to the recruiter to send me materials for a mock interview, where I had to practice giving a live training. During this time, I also had another interview with one of the training specialists in that department.
- What kind of management style do you prefer?
Training Specialist
It was a pretty detailed process, starting with a recruiter call, then a hiring manager chat over the phone, followed by a video meeting with the hiring manager, and finally an in-person interview with the team. Even though it seemed like many steps, the entire thing wrapped up in about two and a half weeks, so it was pretty fast-paced.
- Describe how you would adapt to working in a startup environment.
Training Specialist
The whole process was super smooth and welcoming, right from the first contact from recruiting to getting the offer. It moved pretty fast too, though I did have to ask them to slow it down a bit because of my old job. Everyone I talked to was really nice and enthusiastic, but also super clear about what they were looking for. I got a good vibe that the team was both fun and worked really hard, which was cool. I had to give a presentation demo, and they gave me the materials I needed to get ready for it.
- The panel asked a follow-up question about the software during my presentation.
