So first they tossed my application, which was weird. Then, a recruiter hit me up. After that, I talked to the hiring manager and then interviewed with four different people. The recruiter called me again after the interviews, but then totally ghosted me when I followed up via email. It's been three months and the job listing is still up. The whole messy process probably reflects how the company operates.

Behavioral Presentation

So, the interview began with a recruiter chat, then I talked with the Hiring Manager. They were great and we really hit it off. They asked some good questions and it felt more like a conversation. Then I had to give a 30-minute presentation to the team (three people). The task was to teach them something technical for 20 minutes, with 10 mins for Q&A. But it felt really short, especially since we spent 5 mins on intros, so it felt rushed. The team didn't seem super into it, and one person was literally eating lunch, which was kinda unprofessional and rude. It felt like they didn't care much about the process or the candidate experience. They said I'd hear back, but I never did. Would have been nice to get some feedback. The lack of engagement and no follow-up really left a bad taste, felt kind of dismissive.

The whole thing took about 3 weeks and the recruiter stayed in touch. First, a Recruiter Phone Interview, then a Director Phone Interview. After that, an in-person interview with two Implementation Managers, the Sr. Director, the Director, and some current team members. Then, a video interview with the VP of Customer Success. Finally, an Offer from the Recruiter, followed by References and Background Check.
