Case Presentation Behavioral Technical

I recently went through the whole interview process at ServiceTitan for a senior product role. It involved five 45-minute one-on-one interviews and then a 90-minute case study which I had to present to a panel of five people. The case study happened after the first two rounds. Interestingly, they actually offered me a Principal Product role after the initial interviews, based on my experience. But in the end, after finishing all the stages, I got rejected because they said my 'working style does not match'. It was kind of weird because how could they know my working style without working together? Also, after the last interview, the recruiter asked for more time because the hiring manager was away for a week, but then I got a rejection email before that week was even over.

Technical Presentation

Right after I applied, I got a call from the talent acquisition team in about a day or two. Then, they wanted to do a first phone interview. After that, I had two more phone interviews over the next 2-3 weeks. I was then invited to the office for three in-person interviews. The following week, I had a final phone chat with one of the founders and got an offer pretty quickly. Everyone I talked to was super friendly. The interviews were engaging and positive, way better than most. The office visit was quick, but the interviews didn't feel rushed. My only critique is the number of phone interviews, about 5 in total. This can be tough when you're job hunting and still working, as it might raise questions with your current employer. I did really appreciate all the conversations, especially the one with the cofounder.

Presentation Technical Behavioral

So, I was referred by an employee. The recruiter told me upfront that there were a few candidates they were seriously considering. The first interview was with the Hiring Manager. It was pretty easy; I had to make a PPT on one of five topics, and they gave a rough template. I spent a good amount of time on it and presented it to four interviewers, including the Hiring Manager. After that, there were four 1:1 interviews with the hiring team. Three went well, but I think I could have done better in the third one, which was more technical. They actually wanted one more interview with a tech focus based on the feedback. I prepped a lot for that, and the fifth interview was a breeze. The recruiter said the feedback for the fifth interview was great, but they were still waiting for feedback from the whole panel before making a formal offer. They gave me unofficial offer terms to start negotiations. Then, my luck changed. The recruiter said they had to interview another strong referral candidate. A few days later, they told me they offered the job to someone else. The whole process, from referral to rejection, took 70 days. I felt I could have sealed the deal if I'd been a bit more prepared for that first technical interview.
