First, there was an HR screening call where they asked about my undergrad studies, specialties, and my interest in the company. Then, about two months later, I had a conference call with a panel of about 4-5 people. They asked questions about leadership, problem-solving (like recalling a time I faced something), and my interest in Pratt's product. After that, I had a call with the hiring department manager. This call was mainly to go over department needs and what they were looking for. I mentioned how my past experience as an analyst could help with their current needs, like analyzing engine data and automating pricing invoices. Finally, there was an offer call, and I accepted the position. I really enjoyed my time with the company.

Behavioral Technical

You submit your resume and their system autofills the same info into their application fields, but you have to go in and edit it since it doesn't load correctly. Then there was a government conflict of interest form that came later; I'm not sure if this is a default thing or only after you pass a screening. Then after what I assume is more AI screening, you get sent an online interview that is basically a set of questions in which you get to answer in long format. If you get selected for an in person interview, HR will contact you directly; this will be your first human contact. However, this is where it gets weird. During this HR discussion, the pay range gets discussed and the pay range they are willing to actually offer for the position is tens of thousands LESS than the advertised pay range. In this case, it was $44,000 less. They attempted to justify this as leaving room for advancement within the role, but in reality, it just meant I wasted a lot of time applying to a role. If you are not willing to accept this change in salary range, they will change your application status to indicate you chose to cancel your application due to lack of continued interest, which is not really true.

  • For each past role on my resume, explain why I left it.

Behavioral Technical Coding

it was pretty straightforward, mostly technical stuff, very python heavy with ML libraries. Make sure you know every part of your projects because they will ask you about them. Also, some behavioral questions like telling them about yourself, how you handle multiple priorities, and some company/team specific questions, so do your research.

The interview process consisted of a phone screening, followed by three subsequent rounds, and concluded with an HR discussion. All technical rounds were conducted virtually and led by the hiring managers. Throughout the entire process, HR repeatedly confirmed my availability to serve only a one-month notice period, offering to buy out the remaining period and even agreeing to cover the buy-back amount.

  • Can you explain .Net basics, including OOPs concepts, SOLID principles, design patterns, and your project knowledge?
