The interview started with an online call to discuss the role and my background. After that, I had an in-person interview with several hiring managers. They asked questions based on my experience and personality. Then, they gave me a tour of the facility and showed me where I'd be working.

The interview process was a bit of a mess. I couldn't even get an interview set up. The person scheduling it didn't seem to get that I couldn't just leave my current job. I've got important projects going on, and even though I'm looking for something better, I respect my current employer. Also, the person I was talking to kept cutting herself off mid-sentence when she called, so it was hard to understand her. It felt like I was bothering her. She said video interviews weren't an option and insisted I find a day when all the supervisors could be there in person. I found a day that worked and told her. She agreed it was perfect and told me the time. But then, just a few minutes later, she called back saying that day wouldn't work after all. Highly unprofessional, I thought.
