The interview process had three rounds. Round 1 was supposed to be on Dec 16, 2024, but nobody showed up. I waited, emailed HR, and they rescheduled for Dec 19, 2024. Round 2 happened on Dec 21, 2024, and I passed it. Round 3 was the final one on Dec 23, 2024. After that, they just stopped communicating. I followed up after Christmas, but HR never got back to me. The recruiter eventually said the role was filled internally. I'm really disappointed; I spent two weeks and got ghosted instead of a rejection. It's frustrating not to get any professional communication.

I had a really nice initial call with a super friendly talent rep who was really into my profile. We set up another chat soon after, and that one went great. Then, I had a Google Meet with the CSPO, and we talked a lot about the job and my background. I got an assignment on July 9, which I finished and sent back way ahead of time. But then, crickets. I was bummed not to hear anything back. I emailed the HR person and the CSPO, but still, no word. It's been pretty disappointing, and I really think Perficient's team should rethink how they communicate with candidates. A quick follow-up email is so easy and makes a huge difference for candidates, stopping them from getting so bummed out.

The hiring process had 2 stages. First was a technical interview, then a managerial one. The technical interview was pretty basic, covering topics like Hibernate, Spring Boot, MySQL, and Core Java. The managerial round involved a high-level discussion about a project. Both interviews went well. It took HR two weeks to set up the technical interview. After the process, they ghosted me, not providing any feedback or responding to emails or calls. It's unprofessional to interview candidates if you're not sure about hiring them.

A talent specialist reached out after I connected with someone at the university career fair and applied. They scheduled a phone call where we talked about the starting date and company info, and I got to ask my questions. After that, they scheduled the first round interview, which was a 'skills-based' consulting interview. It was conducted by a PM and an Associate Business Consultant who was hired the summer before. I got an email less than 24 hours later saying they are 'unable to proceed with advancing you to the next round of interviews based on our current requirements'.
