First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Perficient.
Account Executive
I was contacted by a recruiter for an initial screening call. Then, a couple of weeks later, another recruiter called me and asked typical sales questions, but it was not clear what the role was about. After that, I had a video call with someone who seemed like an engineer. This was weird because the questions had nothing to do with sales, and I still didn't have much info on the job. I sent thank you notes after each stage. After this last call, there was silence and no further steps were scheduled. The whole thing was super unorganized and confusing, and took a long time.
- Can you describe your target customer base?
- What is the typical deal size?
- What other questions unrelated to sales were asked?
Account Executive
First I was contacted by a sourcer/recruiter for an initial screener call. A couple of weeks later, another recruiter called me and asked standard sales questions, but the role and its scope were not clear. Then, I had a video call with someone who seemed to be an engineer. This was confusing because the questions weren't related to sales, and I still didn't have much info on the role. I sent thank you notes after each step. After this last call, there was just silence and no next steps were scheduled. It felt very disorganized and unclear, and it took a long time.
- Could you describe your target customer base?
- What is the typical deal size?
- Were there any other questions asked that weren't related to sales?
Business Development Executive
Had several phone interviews, which felt like a complete waste of time. After three interviews, I was told I was a favored candidate and would be flown to Houston for a final interview. Then, there was radio silence for a couple of weeks. After that, they said they were evaluating candidates and a manager would get back to me. I never heard another word. The interview process at Perficient is very unprofessional, at best. The last question I was asked by a manager was "How old are you?". I told him my age and never heard from anyone again.
- What difficulties do you anticipate in the service side of software compared to selling applications?
- What is your age?
