First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Perficient.
Business Consultant
A talent specialist reached out after I connected with someone at the university career fair and applied. They scheduled a phone call where we talked about the starting date and company info, and I got to ask my questions. After that, they scheduled the first round interview, which was a 'skills-based' consulting interview. It was conducted by a PM and an Associate Business Consultant who was hired the summer before. I got an email less than 24 hours later saying they are 'unable to proceed with advancing you to the next round of interviews based on our current requirements'.
- How would you handle a situation where a teammate isn't contributing effectively?
- What makes you interested in Perficient?
- Can you elaborate on a specific experience from your resume that you'd like to share?
Consulting Intern
The interview process was aptitute followed by a technical and PI. The HR interviewer was nice and created a good atmosphere, asking technical and analytical questions. The technical interview took about 1.30 hrs. Be confident enough to express yourself.
- Asked about C programming code and debugging.
- Asked analytical questions.
- Asked HR questions.
Management Consultant
I applied online and started with a phone screening. Since I'm not local to Denver, my first interview was over the phone. The recruiter and I worked together to schedule a second interview, also over the phone. I was a bit skeptical because of the Glassdoor reviews, and I wanted to ask questions to address those concerns. Unfortunately, the interviewer didn't call me at the scheduled time and texted me several hours later saying the recruiter would set up a new time. The recruiter emailed to reschedule, but I turned it down. The Glassdoor reviews had already made me doubt this company, and the missed interview just confirmed my feeling that it wasn't worth leaving my current job for.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What is your motivation for applying to this role?
