Digital Shelf Manager
The hiring process was really good, super smooth and easy from the start. They kept me updated on what was happening, so it felt really organized and I knew what to expect. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful, making it a comfortable and simple experience. They were really responsive and supportive the whole way through.

Video Content Strategist
This Video Content Strategist role (4-month contract) had a really messed-up interview process. It took way too long, like a whole month, which is crazy for a temporary job. They kept changing things and adding more as we went. They said there would be 2 rounds, but then they suddenly added 3 more interviews and a case study with barely any notice, and it all took a lot of my time. It felt like they had no clue what they were doing internally and didn't care about my time. The last part was a total disaster communication-wise; they kept missing the deadlines they set for a decision. I had to keep bugging them for updates, and then they just went silent (ghosted me). The only 'update' came a week later via a text message, totally unprofessional, no apology, no explanation, nothing. All in all, it was a tough process, disrespectful of my professional time, and made OLIVER look bad in how they handle candidates.

Content Administrator
This interview was the poorest one I’ve had. I logged onto the teams and the two people interviewing me were already in there but didn’t say hello or anything really awkward. So I started the conversation. Never had to do that before. They seemed completely unbothered so I assume they already had someone lined up. I found some questions hard to answer and they didn’t provide any clarity. They told me they would let me know the outcomes a few days later obviously I didn’t hear back.
- Could you start by telling us about yourself?
Social Media Manager
The first stage of the process was very positive. I had excellent communication with the HR team; they responded quickly to emails and showed a lot of professionalism. Later, they sent me a test to complete in a few days. However, the test was extremely extensive: they asked for many details, including a strategic plan with content, a marketing action plan, an event proposal, influencer collaborations... basically a complete plan equivalent to a month of work. I received good feedback on the test for the Social Media vacancy and had a positive interview with the team. However, after that, I simply received an automated email informing me they would not continue with my application, without any explanation or additional feedback.
- Imagining an unlimited budget for Social Media and Marketing, how would you approach big-picture, creative, and unrestricted strategy development?
