First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OLIVER Agency.

It was a quick and easy process. They wanted to know if I was okay with the offer first to avoid wasting my time with interviews and tests if we weren't on the same page about compensation. After the interview, they emailed me some additional questions.
- Is the offered salary acceptable to you?
Graphic Designer
It was a pretty chill interview process. Started with a phone screener, then one other interview. The people were nice and asked pretty basic questions. They were more into hypothetical situations rather than asking about my actual past work. Weirdly, they didn't ask anything about my portfolio at all. The interviewer showed up 30 minutes late to our meeting. I turned down the offer because the pay wasn't good enough.
- What are your thoughts on diversity, equity, and inclusion in a professional setting?

I went through a staffing agency for this interview, it was right before the pandemic hit. I had to go to their office, and they offered me tea and snacks. It was pretty nerve-wracking with 5 team members there. They asked about my background, had me show some of my work, and asked about my skills. The interview itself was pretty standard, but the vibe was super unfriendly and elitist. The team seemed really uninterested, like they just wanted to leave. They just gave head nods and didn't ask follow-up questions. I even worried they were talking about me right after I left. The interview questions were easy and the process was simple, but the atmosphere was definitely not welcoming.
- Can you tell us about your background?
- What do you consider your strongest design skills?
- Can you handle working in a fast-paced setting?
