First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OLIVER Agency.
Assistant Account Manager
I had a call with the Head of Recruitment to chat about jobs. We then focused on the Assistant Account Manager role, and she asked about my client/vendor experience. After that, I interviewed with the COO and an Account Manager at the NYC HQ. Both chats were casual and 30 mins each, covering my background, OLIVER's model, and the role's day-to-day. I then talked to the Implementation Lead. Everyone was nice and professional. I got daily updates from the Head of Recruitment. It was a simple process that showed off the culture.
- How would a designer on your team describe working with you?
Account Manager
The interview process was quite drawn out and feedback was really slow. I spent about 4 hours total interviewing. I always had to chase them for updates and in the end, I didn't get the job, even though I thought I would. The team seemed great though, just a really slow process overall.
- Could you describe your management style?
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
- What aspects of this role appeal to you?
Senior Account Manager
The interview process involved 2 rounds with the hiring manager and managing partner. It was conducted over Zoom and entirely via email. The process was smooth. Culture and personality fit are important, as are experience and skills.
- Tell me about a time you had to deal with tight deadlines.
- Describe your approach when faced with unclear briefs.
- How have you managed projects with a lack of budget?
