First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OLIVER Agency.
UX Researcher
I was contacted by a recruiter who set up a time for an initial screener. After the screener I was put forward to the next round of interviews. A person who handled scheduling contacted me proposing a time for the next interview which didn't work for me. I responded the same day saying so and proposing alternate times and was met with silence. I followed up 3 days later with no response. I reached out to the original recruiter as well and got no response. Super unprofessional.
- Tell me about your experience with in-person research.
UI/UX Designer
It was a 3-step interview. First a recruiter call, then I spoke with the manager. The first round was behavioral, and then two weeks later I had a technical interview. The process was pretty easy, but it took about a month overall because there was a lot of time between stages.
- Questions in the technical interview focused on my portfolio projects.
User Experience Director
I went through 3 interviews with Oliver. After the last one, I never heard back from the recruiter. I tried contacting them multiple times for feedback but got no response. The recruiter was slow to communicate, suggesting times and then vanishing for days before offering new dates. All interviews were face-to-face. The people I met were nice, and I felt I did well and was progressing, so I was disappointed they didn't even send a rejection email.
- Could you discuss your current and past experiences?
- What are your skills?
- Can you describe your past behaviors?
