The remote technical interview was a really good experience and very well put together. Communication was great from the start, which made things feel comfortable and professional. I got all the info I needed beforehand about the platform, times, and what to expect.

So, I had 5 interviews for this role. It was a bit of a mess, honestly. Three interviews got rescheduled last minute, or like, I was already on the call when they tried to reschedule. One got cancelled and then they un-cancelled it and rescheduled it. The team itself seemed nice, but the whole process was unprofessional and ended up wasting two months for my team. They set the expectation that I was the perfect candidate, but then they went with someone else and didn't give any useful feedback. They even interviewed me in Spanish as well as English.

I was interviewed by Nuance Communications Banglore. The process is worst and HR are so unprofessional where they do not respond until you ask for follow up. I appeared for final round and they took 3 weeks for feedback. The rejection reason was weird stating " Need someone more experienced in same domain".. So when you shortlisted the CV what was the basis of doing multiple rounds when it does not matches the criteria and salary range. Stop wasting time for candidates and start being transparent with hiring process.

So, I had this 5-week process for a communications role, which involved a recruiter phone screen and then three more interviews. I liked everyone I spoke with at Nuance, but it felt like a lot for just one job. They told me in the end they hired someone else because that person had experience I don't have, which is 'critical to success.' But my resume doesn't show that experience at all, so it should've been obvious early on, maybe after the first screening, definitely before the THIRD video interview. I just felt like it was a waste of my time since they already knew I didn't have the 'critical' experience. It's a Microsoft company, so maybe they have strict hiring rules, but it took way too long and too many steps for me.
